Line chart helps you easily visualize and analyze data trends over time. Whether you’re viewing historical data or comparing multiple data sources, this widget provides an intuitive way to gain insights and make better decisions.

How It Works

Viewing Data

The Line Chart widget displays measurement data over time.

  • Hover for Details: Move your mouse over any point on the chart to view the exact value at that time in a tooltip.

  • Time Scroll Bar: Adjust the time frame by dragging the edges of the scroll bar. Pan left or right to view past or future data effortlessly.

Comparing Multiple Data Sources

You can add multiple data sources to a single chart.

  • Select different machines or measurements for side-by-side comparison.

  • This is great for spotting performance differences or identifying trends.

Poi Marker Modes

The Poi marker shows relevant data based on the selected mode:

  • Fixed Time Mode: Displays the average value for the last 60 minutes of the selected time range.

  • Live Update Mode: Continuously updates to show real-time data.


How to Use the Line Chart Widget

  1. Add the Widget: Open the POI panel and select the Line Chart widget from the list.

  2. Select Data Sources: Choose one or multiple data sources (e.g., machines or sensors) to display on the chart.

  3. Customize the Time Mode: Fixed Time Mode or Live Update Mode

  4. Hover for Insights: Move your mouse over the chart to view detailed data points in the tooltip.
