Events
The Event is designed to provide users with real-time awareness of activities and events occurring within their work environment. It offers valuable insights into crucial aspects like maintenance activities, work permits, and exceptional situations.
What are Events?
In the context of our system, an "event" refers to any occurrence or activity that happens at a specific time or within a particular timeframe. The nature of these events can vary according to each customer's unique requirements. However, common use cases include work permits, maintenance activities, and exceptional situations.
Accessing Events:
Events are accessed through the “Events” menu.
To see Event menu, user needs to have read access to Event and Event configuration.
Event search and working with filters
Navigate seamlessly between different event categories. Quickly access event categories including exceptions, maintenance, and others (comprising all remaining event types). Switch to desired category and select event types via checkboxes. Now, view all events from the selected category at once.
Results from filters are displayed as widgets, which are configurable for each event type. This ensures that the most critical information is readily available within the result sets. By clicking on an event widget, users can access details about each event.
Administrators with Event configuration permissions can extend the filtering options through the system's settings page, allowing them to tailor filters for each event type (read here).
