Organizing POIs with Custom Tags

Organizing POIs with Custom Tags

This content is archived.

You can group Points of Interest (PoIs) into customizable tags to manage them more efficiently on the replica map. Whether you’re tracking critical equipment, accident zones, or machines under maintenance, tagging helps you organize and filter PoIs easily across both Events and Data sections.

How It Works

🔹 Consistent POI Groups Across Tabs

  • The same POI groups appear in both Events and Data tabs, so your organization remains the same everywhere.

  • All tags are active by default, even if they currently contain no events.

🔹 Control What You See

  • Toggle tags ON/OFF in the filter panel to display only the relevant PoIs.

  • When a tag is enabled, only PoIs with matching events or data (based on filters like date or event type) will be visible.

  • Hide/show individual PoIs inside a group as needed.

  • When a tag is disabled, all associated PoIs disappear from view, even if they contain data or events.

🔹 POI Filtering

  • POIs inside a group auto-hide if they don’t contain the selected data type—but the group itself stays active.

  • Portals remain visible at all times for smooth navigation.

🔹 Default Behavior

  • Groups do not auto-hide when filters change.

  • Use the eye icon to manually hide/show PoIs.

  • If a group is enabled but a PoI inside doesn’t match the selected data type, it will still appear, but its measurement widgets will be hidden.

  • Right now, only Running (On/Off) and Duty Cycle (%) indicators are available inside groups.
