You can customize the POI (Point of Interest) panel to display various widgets. All configurations are done on the "Data" tab.
Default Configuration
By default, the POI panel displays the following widgets:
Exception Events Widget: Shows exception events for the current day and week. This helps you quickly identify any issues or anomalies that need attention. For example, if a machine frequently enters an error state, you can track the frequency and duration of these events.
Duty Cycle / Bar Chart (Shift-aware): A combined Duty Cycle + Bar Chart visualization for utilization/production. It automatically detects if shifts are configured for the POI, adapts display (hours or percentages), and indicates whether data is shown with or without shifts. Shift-based view is enabled by default and can be turned off.
Measurand Widget (formerly Live Data): A widget in the POI panel, designed for clear, real-time insights. It displays live data streams in real time and is configurable per POI. Note: Available in the POI panel, but not supported on POI markers.
Machine Description Widget: Configured only via API, this widget provides detailed information about the machine, such as its specifications, maintenance history, and operational guidelines. This is particularly useful for new operators or when troubleshooting issues, as it consolidates all relevant information in one place.
Access Panel Settings:
Click on the menu (three dots) on the panel.
If no prior configuration exists, the panel will appear empty and ready for customization.
Add, Edit, or Remove Widgets:
You can add, edit, or remove widgets and rearrange their order.
Available widgets include:
Bar Chart: Display sensor data as a bar chart (e.g., machine duty cycle per week).
Gauge Widget: Show sensor data with configurable color thresholds.
Gauge Widget with Pointer: Display sensor data with a pointer and color ranges.
Number of Events per Time Period: Show the number of events for selected time periods (e.g., daily errors).
Important! As you can see, none of the preset widgets are listed in the customization widget list. The widgets that users can customize are slightly different from the preset ones.
Specify Widget Data:
For Bar Chart, Gauge Widget, and Gauge Widget with Pointer, specify the measurements.
For Number of Events per Time Period, define the event types.
If all user-configured widgets are removed, the POI panel will revert to displaying the default widgets.
