HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality)

This content is archived.

HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) layers help you understand and manage your digital twin.

They highlight important areas and objects related to safety, risks, compliance, and operations. By turning layers on or off, you can focus only on what matters for your task — whether it’s identifying hazards, checking safety equipment, or reviewing environmental zones.

HSEQ makes it easier to:

  • spot risks and safety-critical areas

  • ensure compliance with standards

  • understand how the workspace is organized

  • navigate complex environments with confidence

Adding HSEQ Content

To learn how to add HSEQ content to a Point of Interest, see https://processgenius.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PD/pages/4538826767 — Step 2.

HSEQ in Core View

In https://processgenius.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PD/pages/5053906948, HSEQ is one of three data categories alongside Events and Data. Each has a toggle switch in the left-side panel.

  • Turn HSEQ on to display all safety-related markers on the replica.

  • Turn HSEQ off if you want to focus only on machine performance or events.

HSEQ in Core View

When HSEQ is enabled, clicking the HSEQ section in the left panel opens filters for Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality objects. Here you can filter by:

  • Safety

  • Recycling

  • Pest control

This helps safety teams quickly locate important safety elements in the factory.

Imagine you're responsible for safety in a large industrial facility. You need to make sure fire extinguishers and emergency exits are easy to find and properly maintained.

  1. Open Core View — use the left-side panel to access the HSEQ section.

  2. Filter by category — you'll see categories like Safety and Recycling.

  3. Show safety items — turn on the Safety layer to display all safety-related markers on the replica.

  4. Locate equipment — fire extinguishers and other safety items will appear in the 3D view, so you can quickly see where they are across the facility.

  5. View details — click on any marker to see additional details such as type, serial number, description, and attached documents.

HSEQ on POI Markers and in the POI Panel (Safety Tab)

When you add HSEQ content to a Point of Interest (POI), the corresponding icons appear on the POI marker in the replica view. Select a POI to open its details, then use the HSEQ]\ tab in the right-side panel to review all HSEQ information associated with that point.

HSEQ on POI Markers and in the POI Panel (Safety Tab)
  • Icons on markers — HSEQ icons are attached directly to the POI marker, making it easy to identify safety-related points at a glance.

  • Multiple icons per POI — you can attach multiple HSEQ items to a single point. All icons are arranged neatly on the marker.

  • Consistent order — HSEQ icons are displayed in the same order on the POI marker and in the POI panel.

  • Toggle POI names — You can enable or disable names using the checkbox in View settings.

HSEQ on Infoscreens

https://processgenius.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PD/pages/5067112449 can display HSEQ content alongside Events and Production Data, bringing the full Core View experience to large displays, TVs, and kiosks.

When configuring an Infoscreen:

  • Choose to display HSEQ as one of the content types.

  • Apply HSEQ-specific filters to show only relevant safety categories.

  • Use both individual POI and Summary view modes.

This is useful for control rooms or shop floors where safety information needs to be visible at all times without user interaction.

HSEQ in Custom Views

https://processgenius.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PD/pages/5047156742 allow you to create reusable filter configurations for Core View. You can create a dedicated HSEQ-focused view for safety teams.

Example setup:

  1. Go to Settings → Custom Views and create a new view.

  2. Configure the HSEQ filters to show only the relevant safety categories.

  3. Assign the view to specific user roles (e.g., safety officers) so they see the HSEQ-focused view when opening Core View.

Custom Views remain active as you navigate between replicas, so safety teams always have their filters applied without manual setup.
